3. How much are tickets?

  • £12


4. How do I purchase tickets?

  • Tickets can be bought online from www.imevents.global.

  • Phone bookings are also taken on 01743 343100 ext 1


5. What happens if you sell out?

  • Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis, book them as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. 


6. Is there a minimum age?

  • Yes, the minimum age is 12 years old but you must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is a full paying ticket holder if you are 12-16 years old. We will be checking ID’s and bags when coming through the Prison gates.


8. What time do I need to arrive?

  • Please arrive in time for your allotted time slot.

9. What time does the event start?

  • The Prison gates will be open from 7pm, please arrive on time for your allotted time slot.

10. Where is the event?

  • Shrewsbury Prison Scream Park will be held at Shrewsbury Prison, The Dana, Shrewsbury, SY1 2HR.

11. Will the actors touch me?

  • The actors may touch you during the event, however you are NOT permitted to touch them. If you do you will be removed from the event.

12. Can I leave partway through?

  • Of course, the gates will be open throughout the event and will be clearly sign posted.

13. Is there a bar?

  • Yes, our onsite bar will be open and there will be mulled wine available at the start!

14. Is there food?

  • No, there is no food available at the event.

15. Is there a car parking?

  • There is a car park outside the Prison which is £4.50.

16. Is there a group discount?

  • We don’t offer group discounts for this event, please contact the admin team for private events on  info@imevents.global

17. Can I smoke during the event?

  • There is a designated smoking area within the Prison which will be sign posted. You can only smoke in this area.

18. Can I take photos?

  • No photography is allowed during the mazes; however, you can take pictures while queuing or in our bar. Make sure you tag @immersiveevents in your post and #SPSP

19. Can I come in fancy dress?

  • We would love you to, make sure you take photos!

20. I’m in a wheelchair can I still take part?

  • I’m afraid you won’t be able to take part in the event. The site is not DDA compliant and we don’t have a working stair lift or disabled lift on the site.

21. Is the event safe?

  • Yes, we have a large number of staff on site all fully trained in health & safety of both the event and site.

22. What is the safe word?

  • If you are unsettled and would like to leave the maze please shout the word ‘OXO’ and our actors will escort you out.

23. What if I say the safe word as a joke?

  • The safe word is there for emergencies only, if you use it at any point during the event our staff will take it seriously and remove you to ensure everything is ok. It’s like saying Bomb on a plane (don’t joke about it).

24. Are there rules for the event?

  • Yes, there are a number of rules:

    • You must not touch any of our actors, even if they touch you.

    • No alcohol or food is allowed to be brought into the Prison, they will be taken off you and disposed of by security.

    • No smoking unless in the designated area.

    • No violent or inappropriate behavior.

25. What if I feel sick during the event?

  • Let a member of staff know who will be able to assist you.

26. Are there toilets?

  • Yes, there are toilets in the site, they will be clearly signed.
